First piece in a while; a bit rusty with the paints. My appologies. My stylized sun kind of looks like a Hot Wheel rim, but thems the breaks, I guess. Wanted to bring the paint on the rays all the way to the centre, but a fuck-up with the Sharpie forced me to change my plans. Linework could be a lot better too, 'specially on the hair.
Minor PS touch-ups, mostly to get it to look more like the original (my scanner tends to make the colours look faded). Hope this is the most appropriate gallery.
I was going to make it brown at first, but after the paint was on (hair was the last to be coloured), I wanted it more colourful. So i started with a dot of green, but it blended in far too well with the sky. Remembered your hair and tried pink, but it was too light. So in the end, I went for a shade of Little Mermaid Red, which was readily available in my pallet from the rays. But then I ran out and tried my hardest to mix a colour (somewhat unsuccessfully) that matched it.
And there you are.
She has a hand and foot attached to her appendages, but unfortunately my scanner couldn't accomodate for it...
Heard that you were over at Aaron's last week with your guitar...he was pretty impressed from what I gather, telling me he wants to pick up an Ibanez. Nifty little gadget, his pre-amp. I might pick one up after I get money, find my guitar and learn how to play worth a damn.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

It's a small world but I wouldn't want to paint it.

Yeah I can't wait for the summer, and the beach...I didn't go at all last year and I miss it so bad.
Plus not as much school stress and decent weather (hopefully) will be much appreciated as well.

DiePersephone her infernal majesty
It turned out worse than I hoped for, but better than I expected, so I guess I can't complain.
